At Stoney Lonesome, we specialize in creating from the heart. The floral industry at large is detrimentally toxic, from the farms that grow the majority of cut flowers, to the preservatives and packaging needed to ship boxes of flowers long distances. A few companies are now packaging eco-friendly, but are still being sent all over the world contributing to our climate crisis. Our company is set up in a unique way, which limits quantities but insures quality, minimal carbon footprint, and the safety in chemical and pesticide free florals. The gross majority of our blooms come from our own backyard in Williamson, NY, while the rest are gathered from carefully selected flower farms. Our vessels are sourced from amazing talented ceramicists and artists who’s work will be passed down through the generations, contradicting the throw-away culture of conventional floristry. We also take much joy in hunting for one of a kind vintage vases to stock our shelves with, who doesn’t love a good thrift find!
